Jeanne Gray Books
I am from Philadelphia, PA and my latest news is that I just gave birth to two lovely and
phenomenal books, “Dumb Things People Say” and “At the Bus Stop”
Writing Dumb Things People Say was inspired after I realized that people were saying really
dumb things all the time and no one really knows they are making these dumb statements on
a daily basis. The statements are said with compassion but it just comes out dumb. People
were making me laugh and that’s what I needed was a little laughter in my life. I sat down
and started thinking of all of the daily dumb statements people in general were saying
especially my friends, family and co-workers. They were my best inspiration.
My second book, At the Bus Stop was inspired from divine intervention. I was driving home
one day and while waiting for the light to change, I glanced over the crowed bus stop. as I
was looking over at the bus stop with all of those people waiting for the bus I got this
inspiration to do a story on people who were waiting at the bus stop. All of a sudden, I
wanted to know more about each and everyone of those persons lives. By the time I got
home I decided I would do just that, except I would do a fictional version of each character.
My message in the book is to look at your own life and see what God has given you to be
thankful for. In this book I found that people’s lives can be very interesting there is no one
story alike. It may sound similar but it’s not. The struggles, successes and love of life or lack
of it are all different in each individual. I am excited about every character I wrote about. I
can picture the person, the places and people they talk about. It’s all so real to me.
My books can be found overseas under Amazon (Japan, France, UK, Canada)
I am currently writing children’s stories now hopefully to be publish in 2008. I am having a lot
of fun with these stories. I have a special passion for writing and I love to create new
characters as I write. Books are great gifts for all occasions.
